History
The Senorita is an original MurLarkey creation built around Salsa Borracha Vodka — a chili-and-tomatillo-infused spirit named for the traditional Mexican drunken salsa of the same name (made with tomatillos, chiles, and pulque or beer). Spice-forward cocktails surged in popularity through the 2010s as American drinkers grew more comfortable with capsaicin heat in their glass, taking cues from beloved spicy classics like the Bloody Maria and the Spicy Margarita. The Senorita follows that lineage but strips the formula back to its essentials — vodka and lime — letting the heat of the spirit itself do the talking.
