History:
The Bloody Mary is generally credited to bartender Fernand Petiot, who is said to have mixed vodka and tomato juice at Harry’s New York Bar in Paris in the 1920s before refining the recipe at New York’s St. Regis Hotel. Over the decades, bartenders created countless spins, including the Bloody Maria, which swaps vodka for tequila to give the drink a Mexican-inspired twist. This version brings that south-of-the-border spirit back to vodka with Papi’s Salsa Borracha, whose natural spices add savory heat that makes every sip taste like it came straight from the salsa bowl.
