1.) Aged Barrel Program (Bottle Ready): Select from hand-picked aged barrels at the MurLarkey rickhouse.
These Birthright® Bourbon barrels have been aged from 2 to 4+ years and have developed a distinct flavor profile that earned MurLarkey the double gold medal at the New York International Spirits Competition with a whopping rating of 96.
How it works: Fill out the form to the right and choose “Aged (Ready to bottle)”, our representative will contact you to set an appointment with our Head Distiller – Kevin Szady. Upon arriving at our distillery, you and up to 2 additional guests (your selection team) will personally taste from a selection of our finest aging barrels, assessing the color, aroma, and flavor profile of each barrel before selecting the one that speaks to you.
Once your barrel is selected, we take care of the rest – we’ll empty the barrel, bottle each drop of the precious spirit, apply the custom labels by hand, case the bottles up and provide the finished product directly to you along with the actual barrel (or barrel head – your choice) as a keepsake.
Cost includes, bottling, hand-applied custom labels bearing the buyers name, cask number, bottle number and proof and each bottle is signed by the MurLarkey Head Distiller.
2.) New Fill Barrel Program (Requires Aging): Experience the art of crafting your own destiny with our New Fill option, where you control the aging process. With our new fill barrel pick program, customers can purchase a new-fill barrel of whiskey and age it to their desired specifications for up to six years. This allows for a high degree of customization and produces a unique, personalized whiskey that reflects the customer’s tastes and preferences. Customers have complete control over the aging process and the aging time that can influence the final flavor profile of the whiskey. This level of customization produces a unique, personalized whiskey that reflects your individual tastes and preferences.
How it works: Fill out the form to the right and choose “New Fill (You control aging)”, our representative will contact you to set an appointment with our Head Distiller – Kevin Szady. Upon arriving at our distillery you will choose from a hand picked selection of new-fill barrels. A deposit will be required and your barrel will be placed into the MurLarkey rickhouse for aging. To evidence and enhance the authenticity of your purchase, we provide you with a certificate of ownership bearing the cask’s serial number. This certificate ensures that you are the rightful owner of the barrel and entitles you / your entity to control the aging duration of the cask.
