Mule Kick

Mule Kick

Heritage Whiskey and spicy ginger beer in a frosty copper mug with an orange wedge — the mule with a little more kick.

Ingredients:

Instructions:

  • Fill a copper mug with ice
  • Add Heritage Whiskey and ginger beer
  • Stir gently to combine
  • Garnish with an orange wedge

History:

The mule family began with the Moscow Mule, created in Los Angeles in 1941 to help introduce Americans to vodka, ginger beer and the now-iconic copper mug. Bartenders soon began swapping in other spirits, and whiskey versions — often called Kentucky Mules or Whiskey Mules — became favorites for those who wanted a little more depth and warmth. The Mule Kick follows that tradition with Heritage Whiskey, whose wine cask finish adds rich, fruity notes that stand up to the spicy ginger beer, while an orange wedge brings a bright citrus finish.
