Description
After bottling Brutality Cask #8, we partnered with the skilled artisans at Cedar Run Brewing in Nokesville who aged a Barleywine beer in the barrel for 12 months. After bottling their brew, they returned the barrel to us and we poured into it our own creation, Mashbill #2 whiskey—a harmonious blend of 70% corn, 20% rye, and 10% apple and cherry wood smoked malted barley. Over the course of four years, this exquisite alchemy of grains and barrel yielded a unique whiskey with natural notes of banana and sweet fruit. To accentuate this flavor, we rested the spirit in a Banana Whiskey infusion barrel for 7 days.
