This Brutality started as a Barrel of Heritage Whiskey. After it aged for four years we gave the barrel to the Farm Brewery at Broad Run. They put a Honey Kolsch into the barrel for 6 months. We got the Barrel back and put our Mashbill #2 (70% corn, 20% rye, 10% apple and cherry wood smoked malted barley) into it for 4 and a half years. It has a beautiful light brown color. Palate starts sweet with honey and vanilla and caramel transitioning to fruit, reminiscent of a red wine with a long lingering finish.
