We invited members of our Bootleg Boys VIP club to come into the rickhouse and taste from 5 different barrels.  This was their unanimous pick.  It is non-chill filtered and bottled at barrel proof of 107

Color:
Rich copper with warm amber highlights and brilliant clarity.

Fresh orchard apple leads the way, opening into inviting layers of creamy vanilla, toasted oak, and a touch of baking spice.

Palate:
Ripe dark cherry arrives up front, followed by rich caramel and smooth vanilla that build across the palate. A full, velvety mouthfeel carries the flavors effortlessly, while notes of pipe tobacco and seasoned oak linger through a long, warm finish with just the right touch of sweetness.
