September 21 is officially the last full day of summer, and we’ve already started to feel the shift to autumn begin: the weather’s cooled down, the leaves are starting to change color, and of course, football is back!
However, it’s totally understandable if you’re just not ready for the summer to end. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, many popular destinations and activities were either closed or under heavy restrictions, and for some, it may feel like the summer never truly got started.
As such, our Master Distiller George “Papi” Zwetkow has come up with some specialty cocktails to help ease your transition into autumn, giving you one more taste of summer while also getting you ready for the flavors of fall.
0.75 oz MurLarkey Cinnamon Whiskey
0.75 oz MurLarkey Orange Whiskey
1 oz cranberry juice
1 oz cider
0.5 oz orange juice
Garnish: Apple wedge & cinnamon stick
Add all ingredients except ginger beer into a cocktail shaker with ice and shake well. Pour into a highball glass. Top with ginger beer. Garnish with apple wedge and cinnamon stick.
Warm Apple Pie
1.5 oz MurLarkey Cinnamon Whiskey
3.5 oz warm apple cider
Garnish: Apple slice & cinnamon stick
Pour whiskey and warm cider into a coffee mug. Garnish with apple slice and cinnamon stick.
